Goodbye...for now.

Retirement
If you have been a Form One student in this school, you will know her.
The afternoon school community is never quite the same again as she leaves them.
A firm and dedicated teacher, she is an excellent Science teacher; Sara told me so.
A disciplinarian at heart, she is also full of grace, gentleness and kindness.
She is reasonable and a peacemaker at all times.
Her genuine disposition has made strong imprints in lives that passed through her hands.
She is every inch a teacher ; born to teach and lead.

The afternoon saw a sea of faces eager to bid their goodbyes and wishes to a dear teacher.

This man has much to say about his assistant. She is more than an assistant and gives more than 100% in her effort to help the school. She is his help mate in school and a bulwark of strength for him. He reiterated that it is indeed sad that she has to leave so soon but yet her higher calling has caused her to do so.
He will miss her.

Puan Heng first served in the school in1995... a good 15 years and she told me that it was like just yesterday. Many have benefitted under her tutelage and guidance and will pine for her. Her many attempts to straighten the discipline of the school has given reason for the quiet we receive each day. Her presence alone brings peace and calm. We have to learn to accept her absence.

Samuel politely bowed before playing on the keys of the piano...When You Wish Upon The Star... Teacher ; this is especially for you.

The Principal and staff bidding a difficult goodbye...

Teachers are reluctant to let her go...

Students too refuse to let her go ; teacher don't go please.

But goodbye we have to say... on an optional retirement.

Goodbye Puan Heng ; we love you and thank you.
