Wedding

So another wedding. This time I made sure I did not miss it. This is a wedding I want to attend cos the people in it has a thick history with Seafield.

The father of the bride is Seafield's ex- PIBG chief and his three daughters are all from the same alma mater.

The bride is daughter No.1 and who happens to be my daughter N0.1's contemporary...attending the same Accounts tuition class earlier in the decade. My second daughter was under the bride's thumb when the bride was chief librarian and daughter No.2 had to take instructions from her. So naturally these 2 daughters of mine are pretty excited about the wedding!

The bride's second sister was an active prefect in school and coyly asked me if I remembered her. How to forget. She has turned into a beauty now. The bride's youngest sister is still with us in school.

The evening was a Seafield affair. Youngest daughter of father of the bride roped in a Seafieldian army...who manned the registration counter, ushered guests to designated seats and performed on stage for the evening. Versatile. Good strategy.

The present PIBG chief together with some Seafield teachers graced the sweet occasion. The party would not have been complete without the presence of the bride's contemporaries like Oon Ee , Hui Ling, Evelyn - the Pusat Sumber Gang-and it was good to see ex-Seafieldians all in different fields and finding their roots in the working world.

The bride

She is a good girl. Has always been. She was proudly named the recipient of so many awards during the school appreciation day in 2001- Pusat Sumber Chief, School Cooperative Chief ...Magazine too.... many more I believe. Active and cooperative .

Tonight she is the blushing bride of the proud groom - Mr. Kevin Tham. Both of them are working in Melbourne and will be residing there. So congratulations Wei Yee. The only child, Kevin told me during the 'Yam Seng' table rounds that he will treasure his bride eternally. Good promise. Keep it hard.

A night to remember by.

Once again, Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Tham.
