Back Again !

I'm back !

And...It's because the event is back!
Every year the PTA of the school takes it upon herself to challenge the body to greater heights of achievement !

It's a joy to be in cooperation with a group of parents and teachers who strive to give the best to the school.

So this year it is the best.

Why you ask ?

We are in another league to achieve another mammoth ambition...

The children are a sensible lot. They understand the ambition of the PTA and are ready for the battle. So they fight a good fight each day; come rain or shine...

How can any rain stop them from their purpose? No. It's rain or shine; they will sell, sell, sell.



The children both big or small; young or old ... they are in for fun, play and making money !


They have learnt some entrepreneur skills; they bargain, persuade, coax and beg! They beg from many to get free products and then to sell to get money for the PTA! What a great lot!



So for each recess in the marathon, they devise ideas that appeal to the buds and eyes of their buddies...maggi mee is most popular! The canteen caterer has best learn from it !



Can anything surpass their enthusiasm ? If it rains the shed is up. Don't ask me how and where they found them; necessity is the mother of invention. They must have stolen or borrowed; let's give the latter the benefit of the doubt !

The Carnival this year has a slight twist; we have got the Alley Cats chieftain in ! Akim and Kah Fai too ! Won't you want to see them on stage?

And..who can exclude the beat boxers of the school? All thumbs up for Aaron and Sam; have you heard them? Unforgettable !

The previous year we raised money; enough money to build this impressive building ! Which school in the country has a rest area like what we have? None. Even the media is coming to witness its grand opening this Sunday ! Won't you come too?

So the responsible PTA has caught the hearts of the children. They know their pledge will be met; so they are all out to catch the vision of the year again.

What is the vision ?

A growing school has many needs. We are with the children each day as we see them clamour for space and shed for co-curricular activities. They fight for space to practice games and musical instrument; even the cheerleaders cry for sheded space to perform their stunts. Where do we place them? So many needs and so little space.



Look at them. So eager to vent out their potential. How can we chip in some help?



Yea. We spotted a corner; right behind Block Elite. The PTA says it's their challenge to create another building for the children to jump, skip, sing and play. We are out to build an indoor centre for the children to display their skills...will you not come support for such a noble cause?



The stage is set...



The tents are up...



A happy family day we pledge on 17th July 2011.

Food is provided throughout the day.

It's breakfast, lunch, tea and even dinner for the entire day.

Come visit our haunted houses and dance floors.

How can you miss out on David Arumugam and the many dances of the best of the school?

Come one. Come all.

Make the vision a reality.

Let it happen.

Let the children today and generations to come enjoy the fruits of a calculated decision of the school.
