For A Change

Things can be different elsewhere...

They serve kindful notices to people ...

Dishes are served in the number of 9 at meals...

Sweet potatoes for breakfast buffet...

"Siew Lung Pau" is served with a straw at a square...

KFC is home to the highly-rated egg tarts...

Buttocks are exposed for small and big businesses ; albeit for boys only...

In a lane in Hangzhou, fathers teach their boys to be like them ; a chip off the old block...

In the Southern village of ShaoXing, they tell me...

For my three girls to be married off...

I must present 8 pots of wine which when tasted on the news of a new addition to their in-laws will reveal the gender ... sweet for boys and sour for girls ... so just add sugar la...

At Wu Xi near the Lake Tai ( Taihu) a huge new temple is built to attract innocent tourists and you enter with special packages...on your feet

In the villiage of LuXun , we had a surprise...

Deep fried toufu; so plain looking...

But when you dip them in this great sauce...

This outward expression is a manifestation of the taste...darn pungy... don't try...

you may just die.

But perhaps it's here under such oriental circumstances that the best camaraderie developed between the tourist and her guide...compatible to the max!

China...full of differences.
