When you were on the field your father and mother took leave to see you run. When you went to Australia to further your studies, your father and mother packed their bags and made sure they are there for you. So you are a product of loving parents and your good old alma mater... SMK Seafield 05.

So with your parents' support you clinched the much sought after title...Sportsman of the Year 2002 ! That's Datuk Che Manis Bt Ismail, a former Principal of the school giving out the honour to you.

You not only were the Sportsman for 2002, you clinched it in 2003 too ! So your proud auntie could not resist a shot with you.

So I understand that you ran your heart out representing the University of Adelaide in the annual sports just as you ran for your alma mater. You are truly my nephew because we both share the same passion on the tracks. Today, we are proud to be a part of your history and a part of your growing up. But most of all, you ran the race of completing the first part of your degree and still running the second part; to be a graduate of Commerce and Law.
