Cheer 2009 !

It is always the 1st weekend of July that Cheers will stage its annual competition.

It is also always the 1st weekend of July that the school will hold its annual PIBG fund raising project.

Thus it is also with a heavy spirit and heart that we leave our boys and girls to fight the coveteous title... the Annual Cheers Event, by themselves.

So, this year is no different. They are to fight on their own again without the support due them but it's ok boys and girls, just give your best shot. It's the spirit !

Your daily training has shown us your committment, perseverance and fighting vigour that will help earn your position in the competition. Your love for the sport is clearly drawn on your eager and cheerful faces that greet us each day, come rain or shine. The discipline instilled will stretch you far in the future but most of all your team spirit beats them all ! Team spirit, team spirit, you got it! So fight a good fight.

Chee Wei says , " but of course , we'll make it! " Yes, that's the spirit.
