A Great Carnival

Picutres are self-explanatory and speak volumes.

See our carnival.

Showmanship...the teh-tarik man.
Try it at home...you may be better than him one day. Remember, not even a drop on the floor.

He started in simple acts.

And ended the show...like that ! Try it.

Play time

The most-sought after game...getting them wet !

Caught you Ashwin !... You can't run away.

They turned and twisted and at times got entangled in compromising positions ! Ban !

Kok Wing , the sharp shooter !

Some for the younger crowd...

And for up and coming drummers...just beat it...RM2.00 for per kick !

What's this ? They told me it's dancing in the dark !...Sounded so absolutely tak betul lei !

After some fun, food...out of the world !

Go green, go eco-veg, eco -green go eco,eco,eco...

The delicacies up there...uncompromised. Nothing from animals, everything from plants.

But, of course, the brainy Doris has this in store for us.

Satu bungkus only RM10.00 and tasted professional! Looked professional too !

The gutsy PIBG chef, planner, cook, help, entrepreneur...no show without her! Mother to our dear Nizar...only mothers of this calibre to have a son like Nizar...our very own boy now in charge of airline business in the States ! Nizar to turn the industry into a money-making concern! Nizar boleh kerana mama boleh!
Special thanks to Soon and wife too for their undivided support by providing goodies, washing cars, and being the best salesman for 3 Jujur ! They sold everything together with the form teacher and students. Good job.

Jokes aside, serious food provided by mothers and fathers of the PIBG !

Not only looks, they tasted good.

Next, the students themselves, macam, macam...

Saw her frolicking everywhere...Beatrice the gymnast and the sporting one.

Oops...it's ok just pick them up , no one will notice !

When there was nothing particular in mind, the magazine man of the school had this to offer...good books at unbelievable offers !

And for those who really, really really, had nothing to do, they took shots of themselves.

So much to do for the day...and my account is but a fraction of the whole show.

Who do you think he was ? I have a strong hunch he was the beat-boxer of the school, an old favourite boy. Let me recall ... Muaz ?

This group belongs to Esther's generation. SPM 2004. Han Joe, Dinesh, April, Michelle, ...and...dah lupa. Can remember faces...but names, a bit difficult.
I think I saw many other old faces, Ann Gee with her sister, mother, grandfather.
Aik Chiew who has just graduated.
And Afiq, the half Caucasioan who is now with MAS and when I asked when he's sending me a ticket, he gave that sheepish smile..."teacher, wait la"...I will wait.
They came from near and far...and I met another girl...told me she went to Tasmania to do law, then did a post graduate study in Perth and now shifting to Brisbane to work..."teacher, I love Australia"...I told her my daughter doesn't quite fancy Brisbane and found her way to Singapore to work. "Oh, but I simply love Australia..." she kept ranting.
So kind of the students to pay their alma mater a visit .
Thanks for the support.

Amidst all the fun and carnival spirit, this is the group who is going to fix up the school and get it ready for us when we go back on Tuesday...the general help of the school. Without them, I am afraid lessons cannot be carried out next week because the heaps of rubbish and mess created can build a mountain. Terima kasih, daun keladi...the unsung heroes of the school.
And on top of everything else, I believe the target collection has been set in place.
Congratulations Seafield, teachers, students and parents...
we are a great team...to be envied by many.
Carnival aim and target achieved.

Thanks for the special mention but I think the teachers and PIBG committee deserve the kudos. Parents like us play the small supporting role but you all helped drive the whole thing through.
Both Soon and I actually had fun - getting in last-minute buyers (who must have been having so much fun they forgot to spend their coupons) and interacting with teachers, other parents and 3Jujur (not 3Ilmu) students.
Keep up the good work !!!
