The Carnival Is Here !

Finally it's here...this weekend !

Come one, come all...but make sure it's the right venue !

At SMK Seafield !

After weeks and months of planning the long awaited carnival is opening its gates to each and everyone of you out there...you our most-welcomed guests. Do make a beeline to the gates of SMK Seafield this Sunday, July 5th and see for your ownself the versality of the school...SMK Seafield...apa pun boleh !

This event is jointly organised by the parents and teachers of the school for the collection of funds to upgrade

• the school field
• the school resource centre
• and general maintenance of minor repair works

It has been the tradition of the PIBG of the school to engage in meaningful projects for the benefits of the students. Major projects of past PIBG effort include the

• waiting area / walkway outside the premise
• walkway adjoining the canteen to the hall
• airconditioning of the school hall
• cable layout and wiring to the hall
• maintenance of the school hall
• multipupose court
• library upgrading / books
• recycling storage
• and many general maintenance of school facilities

So, this year, the PIBG is again not spared of her committment and much time and effort have been spent going through the nitty gritty issues of the carnival. It is with a lot, a lot of time and energy that we have finally come to this stage. Kudos to parents and teachers...teachers the most versatile people on earth. We have been turned into entrepreneuers, planners, clowns, cooks, salesmen and women and the ever long list.

On this Carnival Day, you won't be disappointed. See, gauge it for yourself.

Even before the day, the presale was a premonition to what it's to come! The presale was received with much enthusiasm and it was fun, fun, fun...but a teacher told me that she had overspent...the fun was paid with a price!

The event also brought the best imagination ever among the students...school must be fun too as they coined ideas and images for an avenue to vent out. They have together planned to set up over 60 food stores and over 50 game stores.

Some of them can really bring out the media in them !

And food...glorious food...

By the way the PIBG is ready to set up food stalls ranging from chicken curry to ice kacang, ikan bilis tumis, kangkong, taufu dish, chicken wings....and many many more and also look out for the Eco stall which sells only vegetarian food ; promise you it will be a palatable treat !

Come tapau breakfast, lunch and dinner...the best ever !
