She's Still On The Road !

She's still kicking !

I have been trailing this bus for the last few days but could not get the opportunity to snap. But this morning I had the chance as it parked right in front of the school gate at 6.50am. There is a special attachment to this vehicle as this is the very bus that brought Grace to school from her primary years to secondary school .

Der Wen, do you remember the driver ? Was it Tommy? Or something else ?

After all these years, she is still around ! I feel old looking at it but this has been a faithful mode of transport for school children . It must have been fantastically maintained...this brought me to an age old memory of Esther sitting on it too at the mere age of 2 1/2 . Poor girl used to leave home at 7am to be brought around the whole neighbourhood before she finally reached her kindergarten. At noon, she would also be brought round and round before she finally arrived home. There were days when she forgot to come down from the bus and the bus driver would later discover that she was still in it before he took another round to let her down!
That's because mama and papa were already on the road before 7am each day and so she had to go through it. But she made it.
