Feast Again!

Another day of celebration...at the courtesy of Grace and Sara.

They had to slog through the whole afternoon to get another meal ready.

This is ham ; boiled for a good 2 hours in ginger and herbs before being baked in the oven. Simply out of the world ; not a drop of fat ! Grace's concoction.

Asparagus with bacon...not a challenge to prepare but a taste to behold.

Sara's shepherd's pie ; a recipe of corn beef learnt from Nicholas in the UK.

Oh... I don't even know what's called ; but it's unusual.

Sara's mini pies served with vanilla ice cream ; very nice.

So, we ate and ate till our stomachs could hold us no more.

Oh, what a feast !

The evening ended with some of us singing the carols ; something which dad loves especially when Grace played the piano and as he struggled with the guitar.

Silent Night, Holy Night
All is well , all is calm ...

All so nostalgic and what a peaceful evening we had.

Grace to Esther : Hei, would you like to be on call for a day? I dowana go back tomorrow...

So, all good things must come to an end.
