A Warm Eve

Daddy's wish granted...
... all I want for Christmas are my three daughters, my three daughters...

So we had a quiet and warm evening with the girls and some family friends to celebrate Christmas eve. Dad was adamant that Grace should come home and booked a return ticket for her just to make sure she came home. He wants his three girls with him.

He marinated the turkey before he left for work this morning.

In between visiting his sites, he popped home to bake the bird for the evening.

Dad has never left a Christmas go without the traditional turkey and is inspired by the cook shows on TV... he loves to cook the Christmas dinner.

The kitchen is brightened up by the special decor by the artist of the house ; Esther is always up to something to display her flair.

Yes, dinner is prepared...do no be alarmed by the burnt look; tasted perfect.

This potato dish is palatable and difficult to forget...

Dad says I am so Chinese and am so lost with Christmas preparations ; so he took over and dinner was really wonderful.

But the evening is made most perfect with the presence of the girls from all over.
Glad to have them home with us.

We had surprises ! Grace is generous to us...thank you girl.

All very happy because big sister took the role of Santa Claus...

Daddy is indeed happy to have his girls around him; smiling widely and listening to whatever lame jokes spoken; everything was sweet to his ears.

See the girls relaxing with dad on this warm and meaningful eve.

Blessed Christmas everyone and enjoy the season meaningfully.
