The Entourage to Singapore

Meeting Steve tomorrow morning to deliver the goods.
The day has finally arrived when she honours her order...in Singapore.

Mooncakes of both the lotus and red bean paste baked a few days ago when she got the order from cousin Steve. Against all odds and obstacles Sara managed to concord her very own versions and courageously took up the challenge.

She also made sure her mooncakes were packed professionally in her own style.

The mooncakes packed and stapled for the final packaging.

Very unconventional but nevertheless original packaging style.

See ...she took care and pain to pack them the way she thought best.

I am sure her client will be pleased with the original look.

She gave a couple to a few aunties to try her mooncakes and here is the verdict :

Aunt Christine : Sara, how did you make the lotus paste? It took me 10 years to get the right texture. Can you give me the recipe ?
Aunt Joan : The mooncake Sara made is good lah , kawan. U nid 2 gif her credit. Tell her next year if she hasn't left 4 Uk, I will order a box fr her...
Por Por : Aya. why she so clever leh...how did she make the paste? Even the mooncake I bought for RM10.00 a piece cannot lawan lah. Aya...why she so like that leh...so strangely clever!
Papa : Hm...good. I like the texture of the paste. But the skin must be more stiff...otherwise excellent.
Mama : Good...taste just like the Yong Seng tau sa piah of Muar...ada gaya.

So...the challenge came out well. She is extremely happy this weekend...3 orders of various forms of cakes; with one from a Law lecturer, one from Uncle Soon and one from an online order.

Sara : You see mama...I can earn my own money now.

Good lah...no need mama to maintain you... Can ah?
