Registration Time !

Register or you fall out !

Yea; it's the time of the year again.

Students clamour for their favourite clubs and games ; to get a place or they will be in destitute with no opportunity to participate.

Today was another event which will determine the co-curriculum involvement of the children in the school calendar year. Some may not agree but it is a fact that those who excel in the extra-curricular activities are ones that somehow will shine in life. It is here that they build leadership qualities, social networks, popularity, acceptability and many unspoken skills which may just grant them the extra edge in the future.

I have also seen the active ones excelling in their academic performance and it is a fallacy to equate being active with a waste of time and energy. More often than not, the most active ones in co-curricular participation are the ones who top the school in each academic year.

So be as active as possible.

The leaders of the club frantically looking for clients...come join us.

Who's the sunshine boy? Good way to recruit followers.

Rawr, rawr, rawr !

Yea, she rawrs but doesn't bite. Which group does she belong to?

Yes, they are out to make sure they have the highest number of members...but you must love to serve or the club has no meaning .

How can I further convince you that ours is out of the world? Don't believe? Come in. But I know something ; you cannot recruit the Form 1 and 2 group...lest you all give them the most menial tasks and get them socially bogged down ! Hands off.

But you still try; yes come join the Interact Club. We are going to climb the hill this year.

More, more, more. Come play games for healthier bodies. So many sports club called for members in the canteen...

The registration took up a couple of hours before everyone was dispersed and trudged back to the classroom for lessons proper. Oh do we need to go back to class ?

Yes, ladies and gentlemen ; back to class so said the discipline chief or you will... be in trouble.

It was a day of short but memorable fun.
